With over 14 years of experience in CrossFit, Ameila brings a contagious energy and passion to every session, making fitness not only effective but also fun. Known for her vibrant, bubbly personality, she has a unique ability to motivate and inspire members of all levels. As a super mum to one, she understands the importance of balancing a busy life while staying active and healthy, and she’s here to help you do the same.

When she’s not leading a class, you’ll find her outdoors, whether it’s hiking, walking, or embarking on exciting travel adventures. One of her most memorable experiences? Chasing winter for four years as a ski and snowboard instructor—proof of her love for adventure and her commitment to living life to the fullest.

Turning Point

At 32, Amelia faced a pivotal moment in her life. Living in Canberra, she found herself caught in a toxic lifestyle that was no longer serving her. She felt stuck, disconnected, and unsure of how to move forward. But then came an opportunity that would change everything: a chance to move to Melbourne, where her dad was already living. Recognizing that this was her moment to reset and redefine her life, Amelia made the bold decision to leave behind the life she knew and embrace the unknown.

This move marked the beginning of a profound transformation. In Melbourne, Amelia quickly found a new direction for her life, stepping into a role at CrossFit Victoria. This wasn’t just a job — it was the catalyst for discovering her true potential. As she immersed herself in the CrossFit community, she took on greater responsibilities, eventually becoming the Head Coach. In this position, she found herself facing challenges that pushed her to grow in ways she had never imagined.

Becoming Head Coach was more than just a career milestone; it was a revelation of what she was capable of as a coach, manager, leader, and person. The role demanded leadership, adaptability, and the ability to inspire others — all skills that pushed Amelia outside her comfort zone. Over time, she discovered strengths she hadn’t known she possessed, realizing she could not only guide others in their fitness journeys but also cultivate a positive and empowering environment for everyone around her.

Motivation & Passion

For Coach Amelia, the heart of coaching is simple: inspiration. She is deeply passionate about helping people see what’s possible within themselves, whether it’s lifting a challenging weight, achieving a new skill, or simply moving better in their own bodies. Amelia thrives on helping others unlock their full potential, and there’s nothing she loves more than watching someone reach a goal they once thought was out of reach.

Amelia’s approach to coaching is built around encouragement, technique, and mobility. She believes that proper movement and a focus on mobility are the keys to unlocking performance and preventing injury. Through thoughtful, hands-on coaching, she helps clients improve their form, refine their technique, and build the strength and confidence they need to hit new milestones. She’s there every step of the way, offering tips and guidance to ensure her athletes move more efficiently and safely, while always striving for their best.

But what truly lights Amelia up is witnessing those "A-ha!" moments—when someone gets their first pull-up, nails their handstand push-up (HSPU), or finally conquers a muscle-up they’ve been working toward for months. And let’s not forget the excitement of seeing someone lift a weight they’ve always dreamed of. Amelia loves those moments because they represent more than just physical achievements; they represent belief in oneself and the power of persistence.
