Coach Nick is the perfect blend of laid-back cool and athletic drive. Though he's been in the CrossFit game for 3 years, his passion for sports and fitness runs deep. With a natural ability to connect with people, Nick is known for his approachable, easygoing personality—making everyone feel welcome, whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting out on your fitness journey.
When Nick isn't coaching, you'll likely find him outdoors, camping or hiking and soaking up nature’s beauty. A big sports fan, he’s particularly passionate about AFL—Go Pies! In the summer, you'll often catch him at music festivals, letting loose and enjoying a good boogie with friends. But don’t let the chill vibe fool you—Nick’s also a self-proclaimed "nerd" (his words, not ours!), and he loves winding down with a good video game after a busy week. It’s his way to relax and recharge before jumping back into training and coaching.
Nick’s journey to becoming the coach he is today wasn’t an easy one, but it was one that shaped his character and instilled in him the values of resilience, independence, and hard work. At just 15 years old, Nick made the decision to move out of home, stepping into a world of responsibility that many of his peers were still sheltered from. While most teenagers were still figuring out high school, Nick was navigating the realities of adulthood—managing his own finances, living independently, and facing challenges that forced him to grow up quickly.
For Nick, this period of his life was a turning point. Suddenly, he had to figure out who he was, what he wanted, and how to thrive under pressure. The weight of responsibility came with its share of struggles, but it also revealed a strength and resilience in him that he hadn’t known was there. Through the ups and downs of early independence, Nick learned that he was far more capable than he had ever imagined. He had to rely on himself, push through obstacles, and figure things out on his own—skills that would shape not only his future, but his mindset as a coach.
That period of his life wasn’t just about surviving—it was about realizing his potential. Nick learned that when you take responsibility for your own growth, when you embrace the challenges life throws at you, you become stronger, more self-reliant, and more capable of handling whatever comes your way. These lessons in resilience and self-reliance are at the core of who Nick is today, both as a coach and as a person.
For Coach Nick, coaching is all about helping people discover just how much they’re capable of—both in the gym and in life. His ultimate goal isn’t just to help you get fitter; it’s to help you have fun, feel amazing, and leave each session feeling stronger, happier, and more confident than when you walked in.
Nick brings his signature goofy persona to every class, creating an atmosphere that’s laid-back, lighthearted, and full of energy. He knows that fitness can sometimes feel serious, but he’s determined to prove that it doesn’t have to be. With a laugh, a joke, or a well-timed meme, he makes every workout feel enjoyable, keeping things fun while still pushing you to give your best. His positive, relaxed attitude encourages everyone to focus on the process, not just the outcome, and to celebrate every step of progress along the way.
