With over 12 years of CrossFit experience, Coach Peta brings a wealth of knowledge, dedication, and passion to the gym. Her journey in fitness began long before she stepped onto the CrossFit floor—Peta’s background as a professional dancer gives her a unique perspective on movement, body awareness, and performance. Her athletic prowess earned her a spot competing at the prestigious CrossFit Regionals, where she showcased her strength, skill, and competitive spirit.

When she’s not leading dynamic workouts or coaching athletes to reach their potential, you can find Peta in the boxing ring, continually pushing herself to be better in all areas of fitness. Her love for challenge and discipline has been a cornerstone of her approach to coaching, where she emphasizes both technique and mental resilience.

Beyond CrossFit, Peta enjoys an outdoor lifestyle—hiking, camping, and fishing are some of her favorite ways to unwind and reconnect with nature. She brings the same energy and enthusiasm she has for fitness into all aspects of her life.

Fun fact: Peta sleeps with an eye mask that reads “Santa I’m asleep” – because who doesn’t need a little humor before bed?

Turning Point

Peta's journey to CrossFit wasn't a straight line—it was a transformation fueled by the desire for a healthier, more empowered life. As a professional dancer, she was no stranger to the pressure of maintaining a certain body image. In an industry that emphasized appearance over well-being, Peta found herself caught in a cycle of undereating and self-criticism. She was constantly scrutinized for her weight, and despite her dedication to her craft, the demands of the dance world began to take a toll on both her body and mind.

CrossFit introduced Peta to a new way of thinking about fitness—one that wasn't about shrinking herself or conforming to societal pressures, but about building strength, developing resilience, and appreciating the body for what it could do, not just how it looked. It was liberating. CrossFit helped her let go of the destructive cycle of dieting and self-judgment. Instead of feeling weak and restricted, she started to feel strong, confident, and empowered.

As someone who has overcome her own challenges and redefined what strength means, Peta is driven by a deep passion for helping others realize just how capable they truly are.
